Policies ~
Check-in time is flexible ~
we prefer after 3:00 p.m.
but before dark.
(Please let us know your
approximate time of arrival.)
Check-out 11:00 a.m.
unless otherwise arranged
No smoking in the house or
on screened porch.
No pets allowed.
(We are animal lovers and have outdoor critters
and wildlife who are not used to free-range pooches!)
NOTE: Any momentarily visiting doggies
must always be on leashes
(and please, no doggies staying overnight in the car)
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover
credit cards.
We do have TVs with DVD capability,
and we have some DVDs for you to use, or
please bring your favorites.
Our Kitchen is a Licensed Food Establishment,
therefore not available for our guests to
privately cook in. We will have one kitchen
refrigerator available for guests to use for
their soft drinks, water, juices, etc.
We have sitting rooms upstairs and downstairs
with puzzles, games, books, magazines.
The large screened porch is great for early morning
time or summer evenings,
our covered wrap-around
front porch with ceiling fans is super
for relaxing, and we have
a North deck for great sunset watching.
We are located near the small Athens' Airport,
an occassional small plane and more rarely a
small jet may be heard.
Children:
Being known as a quiet country retreat we are
truly not set up for very young children ~
please call to inquire about your situation.
